WeMadeThis.World allows users to collaboratively build fictional worlds by interacting with a Language Model (LLM). Key features include:

• World Creation and Management: Create and manage fictional worlds with customizable settings.
• User Roles: Assign roles such as Admin, User, and Read-only access with specific permissions.
• Lore Extraction: Extract world lore from text inputs.
• Chat Functionality: Engage in roleplay as characters within the world to contribute to its lore.
• Wiki Access: View a dynamically updated wiki containing world lore.
• Individual Contributions: Review and manage your own contributions to the world's lore.

4. User Accounts and Registration

4.1. Account Creation

• Website Users: Must register with a valid email address and may need to authenticate via Google OAuth.
• Discord Users: Authenticate via Discord OAuth; world IDs are generated using guild and channel IDs.

4.2. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4.3. Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate and complete.

5. User Conduct

By using our Services, you agree not to:

• Engage in Hate Speech: Do not post content that promotes hatred or violence against individuals or groups.
• Discuss Sexual Violence: Do not discuss or depict sexual violence.
• Abuse the System: Do not attempt to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to any aspect of our Services.
• Harass Others: Be respectful to creators and other users; do not engage in harassment or bullying.
• Violate Laws: Do not engage in any activity that violates any applicable laws or regulations.

6. Content Ownership and Licenses

6.1. Your Contributions

• Ownership: You retain all rights to the content you create and contribute.
• License to Us: By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such content in connection with the Services.

• Chat Logs: Only from communications with the bot.
• Generated Contributions

• Enhance and personalize your experience.
• Improve our Services and understand how users interact with our platform.
• Ensure compliance with these Terms.

We use hashed user identifiers in our analytics to protect your privacy. You may opt-out of Google Analytics by using this tool. We will not share your personal data with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.

• Singlestore Database
• Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics to track and analyze user interactions and usage data on the platform, using anonymized information where possible.

We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies.

10. Disclaimers

10.1. Beta Software

The Services are in development (beta) and may contain bugs or experience outages.

10.2. No Warranty

The Services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

10.3. Data Loss

We are not responsible for any loss of data, including generated content and access permissions. We recommend that you back up any important content.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

15. Future Monetization

While currently free, WeMadeThis.World may introduce subscription models or other monetization strategies in the future. Users will be notified in advance of any changes, and any new fees will not be retroactive.

• In the event of a major outage or service disruption, subscription time may be extended accordingly.
• Refunds for paid services will be handled on a case-by-case basis in accordance with applicable laws.

17.2. Dispute Resolution

• Informal Resolution: Parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes informally before initiating any legal action.
• Arbitration: Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA).
• Exception: Either party may seek injunctive relief for intellectual property infringement in any court of competent jurisdiction.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remainder of these Terms will remain in full force and effect.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and WeMadeThis.World regarding the use of the Services and supersede all prior agreements.

20. Waiver

No waiver of any term of these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term, and WeMadeThis.World's failure to assert any right or provision under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

21. Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms, by operation of law or otherwise, without WeMadeThis.World's prior written consent. Any attempt by you to assign or transfer these Terms without such consent will be null and of no effect. We may assign or transfer these Terms at our sole discretion without restriction.
